Sixteen Layers Christmas Greeting

Hi Folks,
Just a quick Happy Christmas from Sixteen Layers. Thank you so much for your support through 2009. It's seen The Layers go from a packed out album launch of I Am No One in Crawdaddy, Dublin to a short tour of Ontario, Canada... certainly our best and most head spinning year to date.

2010 sees us aimed at Canada again with a tour scheduled for the whole of March. The response there to our shows last October in Indie Week Toronto has been incredible. What was a wee jaunt for the lads has turned into a real shot at the elusive North America... thanks for getting behind us and making us believe.

The first thing we do in January is a week down the country to get a running start on a new album for next year. We'll be writing, recording and generally getting our asses in gear for a packed new year. After this we'll be returning to Dublin to organize a fundraiser (for us!) probably in Sugar Club, Dublin around the end of February. We'll be begging yiz to dig deep and help your favourite local act get back to Canada to take up where we left off. We'll send you more info about that as it comes in. The show will hopefully include a showing of our vid for Into The Sun and then we'll feature some of the batch of new tunes we've been working on... it's gonna be bleedin' huge!
